4 tips to make your candle last longer
1. First burn
When lighting your candle for the first time, let your candle burn all the way across the entire surface (edge to edge). This helps all future burns maintain an even burn (or closer to it) + helps prevent tunneling.
2. Trim your wick
This is SO important and the easiest thing you can do to make your candle last longer. When the wick is too long, the flame gets bigger, and the bigger the flame, the faster it burns through your candle
3. Cap your burns
It’s so tempting to leave your candles burning all day but a big flame will burn through your candle way faster. Try to cap your burn time to 3-4 hours.
4. Keep it out of trouble
Drafts, fans, and open windows make flames flicker and burn unevenly. Calm air = even burn = longer life.
